There are no plans to alter rate base, currently at 830,000, the executive said. There are plans, however, to build out the identity of Fortune’s Web site, but it will not break out of its subdomain within the CNNMoney portal.Like most other magazines in the business and finance category, Fortune suffered under the recession and accompanying ad drop. The magazine’s ad pages dropped 35 percent in the first three quarters compared to same period last year, per PIB numbers. Starting next year, Time Inc.’s Fortune will publish 18 times, down from a 25-time frequency. The move coincides with a redesign of the magazine that will emphasize long-form journalism, more utility and a shift to conceptual cover designs.Focus groups were conducted earlier this year to solicit feedback on editorial positioning and design, a spokesperson told FOLIO: sister title Audience Development. The new design, led by John Korpics, who was brought on board as creative director late summer, will have a less cluttered layout and feature upgraded paper and cover stock. Edit will focus on “long-form, deep dive” journalism, and the magazine will also add new sections in the front to accommodate reader requests for more actionable, career-focused content. The magazine will expand by 8 to 12 pages per issue.

FCC This isn’t Oliver’s first time calling out the FCC. In May 2017, he aired a segment on net neutrality and asked the audience to flood the FCC with comments supporting net neutrality. Hours later, the agency’s comment system crashed. “Yes, FCC, we meet again, old friends,” said Oliver toward the end of the segment. The comedian stood on stage next to a sculpture of a giant finger about to press a huge button, saying he’d robocall the FCC commissioners every 90 minutes. “This time, unlike our past encounters, I don’t actually need to ask hordes of real people to bombard you with messages because, with the miracle of robocalling, I can now do it all by myself!”The FCC didn’t respond to a request for comment. Last Week Tonight declined to comment beyond the segment. Share your voice John Oliver joked Sunday that he’d call the FCC every 90 minutes. Screenshot by Marrian Zhou/CNET John Oliver is taking on his “old friends” at the FCC once again. On HBO’s Last Week Tonight on Sunday, the comedian zoomed in on the robocalls problem, citing research that says half of mobile phone calls in the US will soon be scam calls. The Federal Communications Commission has criticized robocalling and said it’d take action on the issue. In November, the agency said it planned to create a database that businesses can check to make sure the numbers they’ve been given permission to call haven’t been reassigned to other people. The FCC is also undertaking “light touch” regulatory actions to give wireless carriers more flexibility to block spam text messages.FCC Chairman Ajit Pai in February also called on carriers to implement robust caller ID authentication systems to combat illegal robocalls and spoofing. He said companies need to get their programs in place by the end of the year, or the FCC will consider “regulatory intervention.”However, Oliver said that’s not enough. He argued that although Pai “urged” telecom companies to implement call authentication programs, if he’d “required” them to do it, the problem might have already been fixed. Hrithik Roshan with sister Sunaina Roshan, mother Pinky Roshan and father Rakesh RoshanInstagramAfter Hrithik Roshan’s sister Sunaina denied rumours of suffering from bipolar disorder, the latter has opened up about the real issues she is facing. Sunaina said that she feels “claustrophobic” to be under the control of her parents and wants to live separately. In an interview with Spotboye, Sunaina made some shocking revelations. Hrithik’s sister said that she was in rehab for two months due to alcoholism. She said that she got addicted to alcohol due to failed relationships. While she is out of the addiction now, she said that she is unhappy about her parents not letting her live the way she wants to.”I am fine and definitely not bipolar. But yes, I am having issues. I want to move out of my house and live separately. I cannot live under the constant shadow of my parents. Don’t have a drink, don’t meet this guy, don’t meet that guy! I am feeling claustrophobic. My dad and mom are being over-protective,” she told the entertainment portal.”If I have a drink once in blue moon, why would I turn alcoholic again? What’s wrong if I go out to party with my friends? what’s wrong if I meet up with a guy?” she asked.Sunaina further said that she had moved out of her parents’ house a month ago, and was staying in a hotel. But her parents “cajoled” her into coming back, and now she is short of money to afford her own house.”If Hrithik can live separately, why can’t I? I love my parents very much and, that’s all. While I also understand their perspective, I just want to have my own space and home. They need to trust me. I repeat, I love them very much,” she concluded. One leading publication had reported that Sunaina was under medical observation due to bipolar disorder. However, she had soon clarified that the report is false.”Surprised to read about me being critical in hospital. Hello Times of India. I am out with friends and partying! Pls get your facts right [sic],” she had tweeted.
