first_imgKERRY STAR PAUL Galvin is retiring from GAA, it was confirmed tonight.Manager Eamon Fitzmaurice broke the news at a press conference following his team’s defeat to Dublin in the National Football League this evening, while Galvin confirmed the news on Twitter.A statement from Galvin on this news is expected shortly.The 34-year-old won four All-Ireland senior football medals with Kerry in 2004, 2006, 2007 and 2009He also won seven Munster senior football medals with Kerry and three National League honours.On a personal level, Galvin’s performances were rewarded with Allstars in 2004, 2006 and 2009.
